NOTE: Some instances of amplifiers are causing a "hum" sound in the system . Reports are to adjust the sound with the dashboard volume control which is the master for the factory amplfier and lower your output power. Use your steering controls afterwards to control your volume.

Thrilled with this product, modernizes the system without ruining the look of the factory dash in my 100 series. Installation was a bit of a challenge and company video's were not super helpful, but I found some decent how to videos on youtube with some very important notes specific to my vehicle, namely the one in the link below. Screen definition is superior to anything I've seen offered by mainstream companies you'll find on Crutchfield or elsewhere. Everything just works, from connecting to my iphone for carplay to connecting to my wifi to update software or download apps. If you own a Land Cruiser 100 series then stop your search, this is the one.
Install is easy, basically plug and play. Ih8mud forum has a lot of info. For the money this unit can’t be beat. I noticed an improvement to CarPlay’s frame rate with IOS26.
It’s not like the CarPlay is laggy but there can be instances sometimes where you swipe the screen and it drops slightly in frame rate. Nothing that is annoying or causes CarPlay not to function.
If your frame has the gap and you don’t want to dremel anything try loosening the screws that hold the screen to the dash kit and it should fit better. Mine was basically perfect fitment.
You literally get an android tablet where you can download all google play apps and if you don’t care about android auto or CarPlay you can split screen your apps to show Google Maps and something else or whatever combo of apps you want to show.
I’m going to order the 360 camera now and see how that goes
Exvellent producr, working properly
I installed the CC3 4k in my 2003 Lexus LX470. Overall a BIG upgrade over the stock unit, and allowed me to add an aftermarket amplifier and subwoofer. Climate control works great!
My only gripe is that Android Auto will fail to connect about 20% of the time, requiring a manual restart of the Car Link app on the T'eyes unit. Sometimes it just fails to connect, sometime it connects with a blank screen. It's possibly related to my particular phone model (OnePlus 8T). The T'eyes tech support was very helpful and sent different firmware updates to try to remedy the issue as well as troubleshooting ideas.
Maybe this will resolve itself when I get a new phone, but until then I'll make do and reset the app as necessary.
This has potential, but there are still many issues with the install and operation. Manufacture provides limited support. How to set up and use info is limited. Most of the credit for resolving issues goes to the ih8mud.com forum. Still working to resolve the continuous background hissing issue with the 2004 Land Cruiser
