  • Do I need to replace my OEM reverse camera?
    If your OEM reverse camera is not 12VDC with AVI output it will not work unless you buy a retention adapter.
    If you keep your existing camera, note that if it is low resolution, it may look stretched and grainy on a larger, sharper screen.
    The TEYES Sony Lens Camera is recommended for its excellent low-light performance, wide 170° lens, and live view capability (view anytime, not just in reverse).
    Certain models (e.g., 2021 Hybrid RAV4) may have issues switching back from reverse; upgrading to the TEYES camera is recommended to avoid issues.

    Can the CC3 record the rear camera?
    Yes. Since the June 2021 firmware update, the CC3 can record the reverse camera to a USB drive.

    Can the TEYES DVR dash camera work with the CC3 360?
    Yes, the TEYES DVR is compatible even with 360 models.

    Can I use a 3rd party DVR with the TEYES DVR app?
    No, only genuine TEYES DVR cameras are compatible with TEYES systems and software.

    Can the TEYES Sony Lens camera replace the CC3 360 rear camera?
    No, it cannot replace the CC3 360 rear camera. However, it can be used as an independent 5th camera placed anywhere you choose.



  • Does the lux one support factory 360 camera on a 2023 rav4


  • To get full 360-degree view, you often need extra CAN-bus decoder modules / harness adapters to match your RAV4’s wiring. Most head units, doesn't have this option and even if they do advertise it, it is not a guarantee that it would work.
